TL;DR
Senior DevOps Engineer to build and operate resilient infrastructure for Bitcoin products.
- •Blockstream is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to build and operate secure, resilient infrastructure for their global Bitcoin products and internal platforms.
- •This role focuses on strengthening follow-the-sun operations during APAC hours and ensuring reliable handoffs with Europe.
- •Key Responsibilities Own production reliability during APAC operating hours, including alert triage and incident coordination.
- •Build and operate GCP/GKE and hybrid Kubernetes infrastructure using Terraform and GitOps workflows.
- •Build monitoring and alerting with Prometheus/Mimir, Grafana, and Alertmanager.
- •Operate stateful services and recovery mechanisms.
- •Automate repetitive operations using Python, Go, or Bash.
- •Requirements Five or more years of production experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
- •Strong Kubernetes and cloud-platform experience, preferably GCP/GKE.
- •Strong Terraform/IaC, GitOps, and CI/CD fundamentals.
- •Solid Linux, containers, networking, IAM, and secrets-management knowledge.
- •Practical scripting and automation skills.
