TL;DR
Embed with customer teams to build and deploy Blockstream products, driving adoption and product improvement.
- •Blockstream is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed within customer engineering teams, building and integrating Blockstream's products into production environments.
- •This role is crucial for accelerating customer success and improving product delivery.
- •Key Responsibilities Develop and deploy Blockstream enterprise software, integrating with core banking and capital-markets systems.
- •Troubleshoot complex technical, configuration, and integration challenges.
- •Collaborate with customer engineering teams to ensure secure, scalable, and production-ready deployments.
- •Provide valuable implementation insights back into core product development.
- •Support technical pre-sales activities and contribute to SOW scoping.
- •Requirements 4-8 years of experience in Software Engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering, or related fields.
- •Proficiency in at least one systems or backend language (e.g., Python, Go, Rust).
- •Experience implementing and deploying enterprise software solutions in complex environments.
- •Strong understanding of protocol intermediation, enterprise integration patterns, and security fundamentals.
- •Excellent English communication and stakeholder management skills.
