About the role
TL;DR
Conduct investigations and make compliance decisions within the AFC Execution team.
- •As an Associate, you will be an integral part of the second line of defense within our Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) Execution team.
- •This role supports the governance and execution of our AFC/AML Compliance framework, focusing on clear accountability, high-quality decision-making, and a customer-aware approach.
- •Key Responsibilities Conduct investigations for EDD, Proof of Funds/Wealth, Transaction Monitoring alerts, and PEP/Sanctions screening.
- •Prepare high-quality case documentation, including SARs or Approval/Refusal decisions.
- •Make well-reasoned compliance decisions balancing regulatory requirements and financial crime risk.
- •Collaborate closely with first-line teams and Legal to manage escalations effectively.
- •Requirements Proven experience as an AML Officer or in a similar financial crime compliance role, ideally within crypto, fintech, or banking.
- •Confident exercising professional judgment, documenting decisions clearly, and escalating appropriately.
- •Organized and comfortable working in an environment with high regulatory standards.
- •Comfortable to work a shift-based schedule.
