About the role
TL;DR
Analyzes and manages investment portfolios, monitors performance, and prepares reports.
- •The Portfolio Analyst is responsible for the detailed analysis and management of investment portfolios.
- •This role involves monitoring portfolio performance, conducting market research, and analyzing financial data to make informed investment decisions.
- •Key Responsibilities Respond promptly to all borrower inquiries and requests for the assigned portfolio of loans.
- •Investigate and resolve payment issues, including suspense payments.
- •Prepare quarterly asset summaries, surveillance reports, and other required deliverables for lender use.
- •Review future funding draw requisitions and prepare recommendation packages for the lender.
- •Manage and escalate complex issues that may require higher-level decision-making.
- •Requirements High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and familiarity with mortgage industry-specific applications like McCracken Strategy.
- •Strong customer service orientation within a risk management/asset management context.
- •Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- •Proactive and autonomous work ethic with the ability to manage conflicting stakeholder expectations.
- •Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 3+ years of experience in a similar position.
