- •We are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join our Datastore team, focusing on our foundational data model and serving as the centralized repository for brain data.
- •This role involves working at the intersection of data platforms, customer needs, and applied problem-solving.
- •Key Responsibilities Work directly with external partners to understand their data needs and translate them into solutions on Beacon's Datastore.
- •Lead technical conversations with partner engineers, supporting API integrations and data access.
- •Design and implement solutions for customers, showcasing and validating Beacon's data.
- •Collaborate with the Datastore team to develop internal tools for improved observability and troubleshooting.
- •Leverage feedback to improve documentation, APIs, and operational processes.
- •Requirements 5+ years of experience developing and supporting data platform solutions. 3+ years in a customer-facing technical role.
- •Strong proficiency in SQL and experience designing/maintaining data models.
- •Comfort operating across the stack, from querying data to writing integration code.
- •Proficiency in a data-oriented programming language like Python, Julia, or R.
