- •Beacon AI is building an AI platform to make flying safer, more efficient, and more capable.
- •We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to help design and build the advanced pilot assistance software that supports our flight safety platform.
- •Key Responsibilities Design, build, and deploy robotic and embedded software for advanced pilot assistance systems.
- •Own autonomy-related features or subsystems from concept through deployment.
- •Write, review, and maintain high-quality Python and C++ code.
- •Integrate software with hardware, sensors, and perception pipelines.
- •Optimize software for edge compute environments and implement safety mechanisms.
- •Requirements 5+ years of experience designing and deploying robotic software and/or embedded systems.
- •Strong software engineering skills in C++ and/or Python.
- •Experience building real-time or interactive systems.
- •Familiarity with autonomy-related systems and integrating with perception pipelines.
- •Hands-on experience with embedded or edge compute platforms.
