- •Axle is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to support the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
- •This role involves providing essential support services for laboratory operations.
- •Key Responsibilities Perform daily maintenance and operation of laboratory equipment like wash machines, ovens, and autoclaves.
- •Conduct visual inspections and adhere to quality assurance plans for glassware procedures.
- •Assist the Media Lab with glassware needs and administrative tasks.
- •Segregate, clean, sterilize, and stock laboratory glassware and supplies.
- •Perform quality control testing on clean glassware and maintain supply levels.
- •Requirements Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent.
- •Minimum of two (2) years of related experience.
- •Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- •Experience working in a complex, demanding, and fast-paced dynamic work environment.
- •Ability to maintain detailed daily reports and communicate effectively with lab staff.
