- •Key Responsibilities Design, build, and operate core connectivity infrastructure for external tool calls, including MCP proxy and OAuth/token management.
- •Own reliability for critical infrastructure, including SLOs, on-call, incident response, and postmortems.
- •Build admin controls and permission models for enterprise IT governance of agents.
- •Contribute to the MCP standard and its ecosystem, including the spec and official SDKs.
- •Independently scope complex projects, drive cross-org alignment, and make architectural decisions.
- •Requirements Experience as a backend or platform engineer.
- •Familiarity with using AI tools in software development.
- •Product-focused approach to platform work, prioritizing robust, scalable, and user-friendly solutions.
- •Full ownership of work from design through operations and iteration.
- •Ability to navigate ambiguity and make sound technical decisions independently.
- •Experience operating production distributed systems with a focus on reliability, observability, and incident response at scale.
- •Excellent communication skills for building consensus across teams and time zones.
