About the role
TL;DR
Lead legal and compliance for a nuclear microreactor company, advising leadership and managing contracts and regulations.
- •Antares is seeking its first General Counsel to build and manage the legal and compliance framework for its nuclear microreactor company.
- •This is a strategic leadership role focused on enabling rapid execution while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- •Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary legal partner to leadership and all company teams.
- •Support government contracts, proposal review, and compliance obligations.
- •Provide legal counsel on nuclear regulatory matters and export controls.
- •Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements.
- •Build and manage the company's legal infrastructure and external counsel relationships.
- •Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership. 12+ years of legal experience.
- •Experience in at least two of the following: government contracts, export controls (ITAR/EAR), or commercial contracts/regulatory matters.
- •Experience in nuclear or regulated environments is preferred.
