About the role
TL;DR
Build and operate infrastructure for large-scale military simulations.
- •Anduril Industries is seeking a founding Technical Site Reliability Engineer to design, build, and operate the infrastructure for next-generation wargaming facilities.
- •This role is crucial for ensuring the uptime, currency, and trustworthiness of massive-scale simulations.
- •Key Responsibilities Maintain the simulation software stack, including installation, configuration, and updates.
- •Own and manage the underlying infrastructure: compute, networking, storage, and environment configuration.
- •Build and maintain a post-release test suite to automate regression and smoke-testing.
- •Diagnose and eliminate failure modes, root-cause errors, and implement preventative measures.
- •Partner with development teams to review changes for reliability risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- •Requirements Proficiency in Python for automation and tooling.
- •Working knowledge of C++ for debugging simulation code.
- •Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and distributed systems.
- •Demonstrated experience maintaining production or production-adjacent systems.
- •Strong written and verbal communication skills.
