About the role
TL;DR
Build and manage the legal function, focusing on IP, contracts, and corporate law.
- •Alta Ares is seeking its first dedicated in-house Legal & IP Counsel to build and manage the company's legal function.
- •This role will focus on intellectual property, commercial contracts, and corporate law, working closely with the CEO and COO.
- •Key Responsibilities Develop and manage the company's IP strategy and portfolio.
- •Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and defense contracts.
- •Advise on corporate law, regulatory compliance, and export control.
- •Provide legal advisory and internal counsel to all teams.
- •Requirements 3+ years of legal experience (in-house or private practice).
- •Strong background in IP, commercial contracts, or corporate law.
- •French and English fluency are mandatory.
- •Experience in technology, deeptech, or defense sectors is a plus.
