About the role
TL;DR
Lead and embed Airwallex's compliance program as the MLRO for South Korea.
- •Airwallex is seeking a Senior Compliance Manager and MLRO for South Korea to lead and embed the company's compliance program.
- •This role will partner with internal teams to develop and monitor compliance rules, support regulatory obligations, and drive key compliance programs for the Korean market.
- •Key Responsibilities Own and develop the FCC compliance framework in Korea.
- •Manage and set departmental targets for the FCC Team.
- •Oversee AML regulatory interactions, examinations, and ad-hoc requests.
- •Represent Airwallex with regulators and financial partners.
- •Develop and maintain an effective anti-money laundering program.
- •Requirements Minimum of 8 years financial crimes compliance experience in a financial institution.
- •Ability to multitask and handle challenging priorities under deadlines.
- •Credible stakeholder engagement and management skills.
- •Written and verbal fluency in both Korean and English.
