TL;DR
Build and maintain automation for quality engineering using AI.
- •Airbnb is seeking an Automation Engineer to join their Quality Engineering team.
- •This role focuses on leveraging AI to redefine and accelerate Quality Engineering processes, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
- •Key Responsibilities Build, maintain, and utilize automated tests to ensure robust test coverage for features and releases.
- •Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and maintain test tools and architect testable systems.
- •Contribute to improving existing automation frameworks and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- •Debug issues found during testing and after release, and learn to apply AI-assisted tooling to accelerate test creation.
- •Requirements 1-2 years of experience in software development or test automation.
- •Foundational knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Kotlin, Swift, or Java).
- •Exposure to writing automated tests or working with a testing framework (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Espresso, XCUITest).
- •Curiosity about applying AI/LLMs to testing and developer productivity.
- •Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent.
