About the role
TL;DR
Owns the reliability and manufacturing test program for robotic mechatronic systems.
- •Aescape is seeking a Robotics Test Engineer to own the reliability and manufacturing test program for their complex robotic mechatronic systems.
- •You will be the technical conscience of the company's reliability program, spanning mechanical, electrical, and software interfaces.
- •Key Responsibilities Own the end-to-end reliability and manufacturing test program through NPI and into mass production.
- •Maintain and develop the Aescape HQ reliability lab, planning and executing environmental and life testing.
- •Define and deploy reliability and manufacturing tests at contract manufacturers and key suppliers.
- •Lead failure analysis on parts and assemblies and drive issues to root cause.
- •Requirements BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Test, or related engineering discipline.
- •Minimum of 5 years of reliability and test engineering experience in a hardware product environment.
- •Strong Python for test automation, data parsing, and analysis.
- •Comfortable specifying, commissioning, and operating reliability test equipment.
- •Experience working directly with contract manufacturers and suppliers.
