Lead the autonomy organization, owning the technical direction and roadmap.
- •AeroVect is seeking a Director of Autonomy to lead their autonomy organization end-to-end.
- •This role involves managing the entire autonomy team, owning the technical direction, and being accountable for the technical roadmap and delivery.
- •Key Responsibilities Own the entire autonomy stack (Perception, Prediction, Planning, Controls, and Localization) end-to-end.
- •Set and own the multi-year technical roadmap for the autonomy stack.
- •Manage the autonomy team, build the org structure, hire talent, and ensure delivery.
- •Serve as the primary autonomy interface to Systems, Safety, Platform, Hardware, Simulation, and Product.
- •Requirements 15+ years of hands-on experience building production autonomy systems with depth across multiple modules.
- •Demonstrated track record of shipping autonomy components that have run in production on real vehicles.
- •Direct management experience of an autonomy or robotics team of 15+ engineers.
- •Fluency with modern deep learning for autonomy and practical deployment.
