TL;DR
Design and develop fluid system hardware for spacecraft propulsion and thermal management.
- •Cowboy Space Corp. is seeking a Fluids Engineer to design and develop fluid system hardware for the vehicle's propulsion, fluids, and thermal management architectures.
- •You will work across the full lifecycle to deliver hardware meeting performance, mass, and reliability requirements.
- •Key Responsibilities Design valves, fluid storage systems, and fluid routing architecture.
- •Perform hydraulic, pneumatic, and structural analysis.
- •Select compatible materials and generate detailed drawings and specifications.
- •Support component and system-level testing.
- •Collaborate with manufacturing and technicians to resolve build issues.
- •Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, or related engineering field. 3+ years of experience designing fluid system hardware.
- •Experience with fluid system analysis and structural analysis.
- •Hands-on experience taking hardware from design through build and test.
- •Proficiency with CAD tools (NX, CATIA, or SolidWorks).
