Legal counsel for Abridge's new life sciences business, advising on product and compliance.
- •Abridge is seeking an Associate General Counsel
- •Life Sciences to be the first legal counsel for its new life sciences business.
- •This role will advise product, engineering, and strategy teams, embedding legal and compliance frameworks into the product lifecycle and supporting innovation while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- •Key Responsibilities Serve as product counsel, supporting product design, development, and deployment for the life sciences team.
- •Support go-to-market activities, including drafting and negotiating agreements.
- •Develop Abridge's Life Sciences legal strategy and guardrails.
- •Advise on regulatory, privacy, and compliance matters, including HIPAA, CCPA/CPRA, and AI/ML.
- •Advise on healthcare regulatory compliance, including FDA, FTC, fraud and abuse laws.
- •Requirements 10+ years of legal experience, with at least 2 years in a dedicated life sciences role.
- •Strong understanding of pharmaceutical/biotech products and solutions.
- •Proven ability to translate complex legal concepts into practical guidance.
- •Comfort juggling high-volume projects and competing priorities.
- •Experience with AI/ML trends and responsible AI principles.
