- •Monzo is seeking a proactive and commercially-minded Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join their Finance team.
- •This role is crucial for building a world-class finance function and will involve scaling Monzo in a controlled way while optimizing financial reporting processes.
- •Key Responsibilities Understanding business and products to write insightful management commentary.
- •Automating reporting production with engineers and data teams.
- •Ensuring financial reporting policies, procedures, and controls are up-to-date and scalable.
- •Supporting the full year-end process, including drafting the annual report and working with external auditors.
- •Reviewing new products, assessing accounting implications, and implementing them in the accounting system.
- •Requirements Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA or CA) with audit experience and financial reporting/control experience outside of practice.
- •Strong understanding of the banking and regulatory landscape, and key financial controls.
- •Comfortable leveraging data to automate reporting and drive efficiency.
- •Ability to translate complex information into simple terms for diverse audiences.
