About the role
TL;DR
Operate and troubleshoot Dexterity's Mech systems at customer sites.
- •As a Mech Specialist, you will operate Dexterity's product at customer sites, troubleshoot issues, and communicate with the development team.
- •This role involves diagnostics, repairs, retrofits, and lifecycle service actions.
- •Key Responsibilities Run day-to-day operations of the Mech system at customer sites during pilots Act as super-user, first line of support, and liaison between DGS and Dexterity System Operation: Safely operate Mech and materials handling systems.
- •Manage daily workflow, including package exception handling.
- •Issue Management: Identify and report issues; perform initial T0 troubleshooting.
- •Validate fixes in the field and close out issues with Echo/Delta teams.
- •Track issue lifecycle on site until closure Reporting: Provide daily internal updates and KPI reports.
- •Deliver daily customer-facing reports on operations status.
- •Requirements Strong troubleshooting skills across electromechanical systems, pneumatics, drives, sensors, and industrial robotics Comfort with Linux command line, log analysis, and basic application debugging (Python/SQL) Familiarity with tools like Jira, Zendesk, and knowledge base platforms Experience managing spares, executing RMAs, and coordinating with supply chain or service teams
