About the role
TL;DR
Supervises quality operations for kitting, warehousing, and distribution of diagnostic kits.
- •The Quality Supervisor leads all quality activities at the Hims & Hers diagnostic kitting and distribution facility.
- •This is a hands-on role responsible for building and running the day-to-day quality system for a site that receives individual device components, assembles them into patient-ready blood collection kits, and ships those kits to patients based on prescriptions.
- •Key Responsibilities Establish and maintain quality requirements for warehouse and kitting operations, including storage controls, expiry management, and incoming receipt/component inspection.
- •Oversee kitting operations quality, including in-process inspections, batch record review, and label/document change management.
- •Own and execute customer quality complaint evaluations and investigations, and manage the site's nonconformance (NC) and deviation process.
- •Manage the CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) program and support training for site personnel.
- •Plan and execute internal assessments and support any external audits or inspections.
- •Requirements Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience. 4–6 years of quality experience in a regulated medical device, IVD, or closely related healthcare manufacturing or distribution environment.
- •Demonstrated experience writing and implementing SOPs, work instructions, and batch records.
- •Hands-on experience running a nonconformance and CAPA system.
- •Strong written communication skills and comfort working in a fast-paced warehouse and kitting environment.
