TL;DR
Lead complex audits, evaluate controls, and strengthen governance for Upstart Bank's Internal Audit program.
- •Upstart Bank's Internal Audit team provides independent assurance to the Bank's Audit Committee and Board of Directors.
- •As Manager, Internal Audit, you will build and execute the Bank's Internal Audit program, leading complex audits and strengthening governance.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead complex risk-based audits from planning through reporting.
- •Evaluate the effectiveness of governance, risk management, compliance, and internal controls.
- •Build trusted partnerships with business leaders and deliver practical recommendations.
- •Support the development and execution of the Bank's annual audit plan.
- •Coordinate audit activities with Upstart Holdings Internal Audit and external auditors.
- •Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, Risk Management, or related field. 7+ years of progressive experience in internal audit, external audit, risk management, or financial services.
- •Experience auditing banking, fintech, lending, payments, or technology-enabled financial services organizations.
- •Strong understanding of internal controls, risk-based auditing, and governance.
- •Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
