TL;DR
Build and own the data infrastructure for Braintrust's business operations and systems.
- •Braintrust is seeking a Data Engineer to build and own the data infrastructure that powers business operations and systems.
- •This is a hands-on, solo role where you will build queues, workers, and data models on top of an existing warehouse foundation.
- •Key Responsibilities Build and own the customer data platform, resolving identity across multiple sources.
- •Design queues, workers, and models for enrichment, routing, and activation.
- •Build the account scoring and routing engine with explainable decisions.
- •Integrate external data sources and handle vendor APIs.
- •Push signal outward via Reverse-ETL and Slack digests.
- •Requirements Experience building data platforms, backend systems, or data/ML infrastructure.
- •Deep experience with analytical data systems like Snowflake and dbt.
- •Comfortable writing production backend code, not just SQL.
- •Clear judgment about data modeling, schema evolution, and lineage.
