About the role
TL;DR
Manage the end-to-end accounting lifecycle at Gelato.
- •Join Gelato as a Senior Accountant to manage the end-to-end accounting lifecycle.
- •Key Responsibilities Oversee the full accounting cycle, ensuring precise execution of AP and AR processes.
- •Monitor daily cash positions, manage liquidity, and optimize payment timing.
- •Ensure strict adherence to local and international regulations (VAT/GST/Sales Tax).
- •Identify and execute opportunities to automate manual accounting tasks using AI tools.
- •Maintain and refine the internal control environment for payments and financial data.
- •Requirements 5+ years of professional experience in accounting, ideally combining Big 4 exposure and hands-on ownership of accounting operations.
- •Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA, CIMA, CMA, or equivalent).
- •Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis.
- •Proficiency or strong interest in AI and automation tools and technologies.
- •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
