TL;DR
Controller to build and lead accounting function during rapid growth.
- •Turion Space is building the infrastructure for the next generation of space operations.
- •We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and hands-on Controller to build and lead the company's accounting function during a period of rapid growth.
- •Key Responsibilities Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process and prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements.
- •Lead Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Fixed Assets, and General Ledger accounting.
- •Design and maintain strong internal controls and financial policies, and coordinate annual financial statement audits.
- •Support accounting for government contracts and maintain cost accounting systems.
- •Lead ERP implementation and optimization initiatives to improve financial reporting automation and operational efficiency.
- •Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA required. 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- •Strong knowledge of U.S.
- •GAAP and financial reporting, and experience leading audits.
- •Experience implementing or managing ERP systems and advanced Excel proficiency.
- •Experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or hardware technology companies is preferred.
