- •AeroVect is seeking a Staff Software Engineer, Infrastructure (On-Prem) to own the physical infrastructure powering their autonomous vehicle operations at garage facilities.
- •This role involves managing computing and networking gear, overseeing software delivery to autonomous tractors, and building on-prem data processing systems.
- •Key Responsibilities Develop, configure, and maintain uploaders and networking gear at garage facilities.
- •Manage software release delivery to autonomous tractors and on-prem devices.
- •Build and maintain on-prem data processing applications in C++ and Python.
- •Ensure reliable ingestion of vehicle data and manage upload flows to cloud infrastructure.
- •Monitor server health, network performance, and data pipeline reliability.
- •Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. 7+ years of experience managing on-prem infrastructure, bare metal systems, and physical networking.
- •Proficiency in C++ and Python for data processing and automation.
- •Hands-on experience configuring servers and network hardware.
- •Experience managing software deployment pipelines to physical or embedded systems.
