TL;DR
Lead and build the operational engine for Wing's drone delivery service at scale.
- •Wing is building the future of on-demand delivery and is looking for a Senior Director of Global Operations to lead and build the operational engine that powers it at scale.
- •This role will own the strategy and execution of their drone delivery service as they plan to serve nearly 20 US metros.
- •Key Responsibilities Develop the team that launches new markets and ensures existing markets hit operational OKRs.
- •Monitor site-level unit economics and optimize operational levers.
- •Build, lead, and scale a high-performing operations workforce.
- •Champion the adoption of AI-driven tools and automated workforce scheduling.
- •Maintain compliance with aviation regulations and safety policies.
- •Requirements 25+ years of progressive operational leadership experience.
- •Strong commercial orientation with deep understanding of operational P&L management.
- •Proven track record scaling a distributed field operation with a mix of labor types.
- •Demonstrated experience integrating advanced technology and AI tools into operational workflows.
- •High-level problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
