TL;DR
Manage and optimize the global HRIS ecosystem, focusing on Workday and other HR tools.
- •Back Market is seeking a Global HRIS Specialist to manage their People Team's tooling ecosystem across 17 countries, with Workday as the core system.
- •This role involves configuring, testing, and troubleshooting Workday and other HR tools, as well as exploring automation and AI for People processes.
- •Key Responsibilities Configure, test, and document Workday across HCM, Absence, Talent, Advanced Compensation, Help, and Journeys.
- •Own the release management cycle for Workday, assessing impacts and implementing new features.
- •Troubleshoot system issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement structural fixes.
- •Take ownership of other HR tools (ATS, expense management, etc.), mapping setups, and establishing governance.
- •Partner with Tech teams on integration design between Workday and other systems.
- •Requirements 3-5 years of hands-on Workday configuration experience (HCM, reporting, security).
- •Experience administering at least one other HR tool end-to-end.
- •Ability to translate business needs into system requirements and push back on inappropriate requests.
- •Structured and thorough approach with discipline on data accuracy and documentation.
- •Comfortable taking over existing scopes with diplomacy and patience.
- •Fluent in English.
