- •Outschool is seeking a Director of Infrastructure Engineering to lead their Infrastructure and Platform team.
- •This role focuses on accelerating innovation and ensuring operational stability through robust infrastructure, principled platformization, and empowering developer experience.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and grow a multi-site team of 5-10 engineers, remaining hands-on with architecture and development.
- •Establish short-term deliverables and long-term strategies for the entire infrastructure stack, including AI enablement.
- •Partner cross-functionally with Product, Design, Data, Marketing, and Operations to deliver exceptional systems.
- •Champion technical excellence and a culture of high ownership, providing mentorship and support for engineers.
- •Requirements 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in engineering management.
- •Deep expertise in infrastructure and platform engineering, including AWS, Postgres, Kubernetes, Redshift, Terraform, and Cloudwatch.
- •Familiarity with full-stack development using TypeScript, React, Node.js, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL.
- •Experience with AI-native development paradigms and leading teams through AI transformations.
