About the role
TL;DR
Lead all pipeline-generating marketing functions to create, convert, and scale qualified pipeline.
- •Cogent is seeking a Head of Demand Generation to lead all pipeline-generating marketing functions, including digital, partner, and field marketing, as well as sales development.
- •This senior player-coach role will report into the Head of Growth and is responsible for creating, converting, and scaling qualified pipeline.
- •Key Responsibilities Own the pipeline generation plan, including targets, source mix, budget, and quarterly plays.
- •Define and optimize the Lead to SQL model for lead capture, routing, nurture, and conversion.
- •Scale field and channel programs as a core pipeline engine, including repeatable event formats and regional plans.
- •Build ABM and whale-hunting plays for named accounts, and own outbound strategy in partnership with the SDR Lead.
- •Track and analyze funnel performance, source performance, spend efficiency, and conversion rates.
- •Requirements 10+ years in B2B demand generation, growth, or integrated revenue marketing, ideally in enterprise cybersecurity.
- •Proven ability to build a demand generation function and own pipeline creation targets and budget.
- •Experience with AI-native marketing strategies and automation tools.
- •Strong command of field and channel program execution, sales development partnership, ABM, and digital/content motions.
- •Experience building demand for enterprise sales motions with technical and economic buyers.
