TL;DR
Manage engineering BOMs and build the estimating engine for modular designs.
- •The BOM/Estimating Lead will manage engineering BOMs for modular designs and build the estimating engine.
- •Key Responsibilities Own the BOMs for modular designs from concept through release.
- •Build the estimating engine for costs by assembly and configuration.
- •Reconcile design and BOM revisions and explain every delta.
- •Feed procurement and finance with quantities and costs.
- •Requirements Experience with engineering BOMs for complex products or construction.
- •Ability to estimate at speed and rigor, and track estimates against actuals.
- •Proper data structuring and relentless reconciliation across CAD, ERP, and reality.
- •Automation of takeoffs and rollups.
