TL;DR
Manage global supplier relationships and sourcing strategy for board electricals.
- •Base is seeking a Global Supply Manager to manage supplier relationships, support product development and manufacturing, and implement sourcing strategies for general hardware manufacturing.
- •This role will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and logistics teams.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end RFx processes and supplier selection.
- •Build and maintain should-cost models to identify cost-down opportunities.
- •Negotiate pricing, tooling, payment terms, and master agreements.
- •Develop and execute global commodity strategies to optimize cost, supply continuity, and risk.
- •Drive supplier readiness for production ramp and sustained manufacturing.
- •Requirements Background in sourcing board-level electronics with a strong understanding of component cost drivers and supplier dynamics. 3+ years of sourcing experience.
- •Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills.
- •Strong organizational and project management skills.
- •Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (average 25%).
