About the role
TL;DR
Owns electrical debug and failure analysis for AI systems at contract manufacturing partners.
- •Etched is building hardware for frontier intelligence, focusing on inference.
- •As a Manufacturing Test Engineer in Taiwan, you will be the primary point of contact for the factory floor, ensuring the quality and reliability of our AI systems.
- •Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair electronic assemblies down to the component level.
- •Work on-site with Contract Manufacturers (CMs) and ODMs to improve yield and qualify new components.
- •Support new-product and new-station bring-up under compressed schedules.
- •Set up and operate test equipment and factory test stations.
- •Drive DFM and DFT across the product lifecycle.
- •Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 2–8 years of experience in manufacturing test, product, or electrical engineering.
- •Hands-on board-level debug experience with schematics, electronics circuits, and PCB layouts.
- •Working knowledge of system hardware architectures and PCB fabrication/assembly processes.
- •Experience with DFX/DFM, yield assessment, and failure analysis.
