About the role
TL;DR
Manage a distributed SRE team to ensure Radar's global infrastructure is scalable and highly available.
- •Radar is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a distributed SRE team focused on production infrastructure.
- •You will guide a team and drive a roadmap to ensure Radar's services are scalable and highly available globally, supporting over 1 billion API calls daily.
- •Key Responsibilities Manage, grow, and mentor a globally distributed SRE team.
- •Oversee observability, monitoring, and incident management practices.
- •Drive initiatives for high availability, multi-region deployment, and cloud cost optimization.
- •Ensure compliance and security by default in processes and infrastructure.
- •Engage with customers and prospects to understand their needs and ensure their success.
- •Requirements Experience managing production AWS environments via Terraform.
- •Experience with high availability multi-region production infrastructure on Kubernetes.
- •Experience managing large sharded MongoDB clusters.
- •Experience at a high growth startup.
- •Interest in customer interaction and ensuring customer success.
