About the role
TL;DR
Operate and monitor pilot plant chemical processes and assist with equipment installation and maintenance.
- •Mariana Minerals is seeking a motivated technician for their San Francisco Pilot Plant team to support the development and operation of critical mineral refining processes and automated plant optimization software.
- •Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor chemical processes like precipitation, filtration, and ion exchange.
- •Safely handle chemicals and waste streams according to SOPs and regulations.
- •Support sampling, quality checks, and basic laboratory measurements.
- •Assist with equipment installation, startup, and commissioning.
- •Requirements Associate degree, technical certificate, or equivalent experience in a relevant field. 3+ years of experience operating industrial equipment in relevant industries.
- •Prior exposure to plant safety work processes (LOTO, hot work permitting, etc.).
- •Experience using HMIs and plant software systems.
