- •Eight Sleep is seeking a Director of Mechanical Engineering to lead their electromechanical product design team in San Francisco.
- •This role will oversee the development of complex products from concept to production, reporting to the Chief Product Officer.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead mechanical engineering across the full development cycle, managing engineers and providing technical leadership.
- •Shape and execute the hardware product roadmap in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- •Grow and manage a world-class engineering team, fostering a culture of excellence and implementing efficient processes.
- •Requirements 10+ years of experience developing complex electromechanical systems.
- •Proven track record of launching successful products and managing mechanical engineers.
- •Deep knowledge of injection molding, electronics/sensor integration, and mechanism design.
- •Experience scaling products to high volume production in Asia and expertise in DFM/DFA, tolerance analysis, and GD&T.
