Staff Platform Engineer to lead developer platform strategy and build internal tooling.
- •Bazaarvoice is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to spearhead their enterprise Developer Platform and Developer Experience strategy.
- •This role focuses on designing and implementing distributed, fault-tolerant systems and building internal developer platform capabilities.
- •Key Responsibilities Spearhead enterprise Developer Platform and Developer Experience strategy.
- •Act as the primary technical lead for the Single Tool Chain initiative.
- •Architect reusable tooling, templates, and paved-road solutions.
- •Design and implement distributed, fault-tolerant systems.
- •Improve developer productivity and enable faster, safer software shipping.
- •Requirements 10-15 years of experience with highly scalable distributed systems using open-source tools.
- •Strong hands-on coding ability, focused on building internal platforms and developer tooling.
- •Strong Java engineering skills with experience building production backend services.
- •Deep understanding of software design patterns, clean architecture, and system design.
- •Extensive knowledge of container and container orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
