TL;DR
Investigate and protect Polymarket's prediction markets from fraud and manipulation.
- •Polymarket is seeking a Senior Investigation Analyst to safeguard market integrity by investigating potential abuses like insider trading, market manipulation, and fraud.
- •You will manage investigations from start to finish and act as a liaison for law enforcement inquiries.
- •Key Responsibilities Investigate market integrity issues including insider trading, coordinated wallet activity, and spoofing.
- •Trace wallet activity and funding flows using blockchain analysis tools.
- •Analyze order book data for manipulation patterns using trade surveillance tools.
- •Respond to legal processes such as subpoenas and assess associated risks.
- •Produce clear, defensible investigative reports for leadership and external parties.
- •Requirements 5-7+ years of investigative experience in trade surveillance, market structure, blockchain forensics, or financial crimes.
- •Working knowledge of order-book mechanics and manipulation typologies, or blockchain analysis.
- •Direct experience with blockchain analysis tools (e.g., Chainalysis) or trade-surveillance platforms (e.g., Eventus).
- •Proven ability to build cases from limited initial indicators and document findings clearly.
- •Sound judgment in evaluating and responding to legal and regulatory requests under deadlines.
