About the role
TL;DR
Lead fulfillment and experience strategy and operations for a large e-commerce platform.
- •As a Director within F&E, you will be a critical anchor shaping how buyers and sellers experience the platform and how efficiently and reliably it runs.
- •This is a highly generalist leadership role designed for a strategic problem-solver who can navigate seamlessly between long-term strategic transformation and large-scale, metrics-driven execution.
- •Key Responsibilities Define and execute the 12–18 month roadmap for your charter, balancing growth, operational SLA performance, and unit economics.
- •Identify structural network bottlenecks, anticipate second
- •and third-order order flow impacts, and build early-warning systems to mitigate disruptions.
- •Drive continuous cost-to-serve reductions while ensuring neutral-to-accretive impacts on Net Merchandise Value (NMV).
- •Partner closely with Product and Engineering leadership to automate manual interventions and build automated control tower monitoring.
- •Build, mentor, and scale a bench of central and regional operational leaders.
- •Requirements 10–15 years of total experience combining background from a top-tier management consultancy with operational or product leadership in high-growth tech platforms, e-commerce, or large-scale supply chain ecosystems.
- •Ability to decompose messy, unstructured business challenges into structured platform interventions.
- •Comfort operating in hyper-analytical environments, using metrics to diagnose root causes.
- •Demonstrated ability to enter unfamiliar operational spaces, build rapid context, and deliver measurable impact.
