About the role
TL;DR
Own Arcade’s mission-critical commerce and operations infrastructure.
- •Arcade is building the world’s first AI physical product creation platform.
- •We need someone to own the core platform end to end and make it robust, scalable, and built to last.
- •Key Responsibilities Enforce clean APIs, horizontally scalable microservices, and modern deployment practices.
- •Manage the order fulfillment pipeline from checkout through manufacturer fulfillment.
- •Develop a real-time pricing engine with dynamic pricing and volume discounts.
- •Own the infrastructure for AI inference workloads, ensuring reliability and cost-efficiency.
- •Manage the client SDK and MCP integration layer for developers.
- •Requirements 8+ years of backend engineering experience.
- •Commerce or marketplace experience.
- •Strong systems instincts and a bias toward simplicity.
- •Comfortable with ambiguity and making architectural decisions.
