About the role
TL;DR
Lead the incorporation and compliance build-out of Taptap Send's new Argentine entity.
- •Taptap Send is building the world's leading cross-border fintech for emerging markets.
- •We are seeking a Director and Compliance Officer to lead the incorporation and compliance build-out of our new Argentine entity.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead the entity's registration as a PSAV with the CNV and as an obligated entity before the UIF.
- •Build out local compliance operations from the ground up, establishing an effective compliance framework.
- •Develop policies and procedures tailored to Argentina's PSAV regime.
- •Oversee CDD/KYC/EDD on new customers, partners, and products.
- •Collaborate with Group Compliance and internal audit teams to strengthen controls.
- •Requirements Strong understanding of Argentina's virtual asset regulatory framework. 5+ years of experience in compliance within a fintech, VASP, or remittance company.
- •Experience managing regulatory engagements and leading entity incorporation projects.
- •Knowledge of virtual asset and blockchain risk typologies.
- •Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience.
