- •The Lumber Manufactory is seeking a Vice President of Engineering to lead the engineering team and technical direction of sawmill platforms and technology.
- •Key Responsibilities Serve as the system-level technical authority for sawmill platforms and equipment designs.
- •Define and maintain the multi-year technology roadmap.
- •Lead critical technical tradeoffs and balance performance, reliability, safety, maintainability, cost, and schedule.
- •Guide cross-disciplinary engineering from R&D through deployment and continuous improvement.
- •Drive rigorous testing, validation, qualification, and commissioning at mill sites.
- •Requirements Experience leading complex hardware-software systems from concept through commissioning.
- •Technical credibility and organizational leadership.
- •Track record of deploying rugged, automated systems in resource-constrained and remote settings.
- •Strong background in mechanical systems, material handling, electrical power, controls, automation, and supporting infrastructure.
- •Ability to balance technical, safety, and business considerations.
