- •Halter is seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer to define and implement security practices across their growing engineering organization.
- •This role will involve hands-on technical work, ownership of security initiatives, and collaboration across the entire technical stack.
- •Key Responsibilities Proactively identify, assess, and prioritize security vulnerabilities, threats, and risks.
- •Define and create threat models for application and infrastructure security.
- •Help define and evolve security practices and standards across the organization.
- •Write and maintain code and tooling to resolve security issues and address vulnerabilities.
- •Provide mentorship and technical leadership to engineers on security best practices.
- •Requirements Deeply experienced in security practices with a love for solving hard problems.
- •Ability to securely scale a system to millions of end users.
- •Unphased by large codebases and complex problem spaces.
- •Strong communication skills with a default to transparency and openness.
- •Team player valuing collaboration and driving team performance.
