About the role
TL;DR
Associate R&D Engineer to design and build next-generation optical instruments.
- •This role focuses on delivering next-generation instruments by integrating lasers, electro-optics, 3D positioners, high-speed CMOS detectors, and microfluidics.
- •You will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining cutting-edge technology platforms.
- •Key Responsibilities Develop innovations in mass photometry for next-generation instruments.
- •Concept, design, build, and troubleshoot prototype optical microscopy instruments.
- •Analyze complex data sets to evaluate instrument performance.
- •Define complex technical specifications and requirements for new designs.
- •Contribute to Refeyn's IP portfolio and identify patentable IP.
- •Requirements BSc Engineering or equivalent experience.
- •Relevant experience in an optics/electro-optics background (e.g., PhD in Microscopy/laser optics/Nano-optics).
- •Experience in design, alignment, and troubleshooting of optical equipment.
- •Data analysis skills in C/C++/Python/Matlab or similar.
