About the role
TL;DR
Provide legal support for corporate and commercial transactions in a fast-paced tech company.
- •As Legal Counsel, you will be involved in the day-to-day business and operations of a fast-paced tech company, contributing significantly to the legal team and the company as a whole.
- •You will handle a wide array of legal matters, including contract negotiation, regulatory analysis, and corporate governance.
- •Key Responsibilities Provide legal support for corporate and commercial transactions.
- •Independently lead contract drafting and negotiations for a variety of commercial contracts and complex matters.
- •Advise cross-functionally across revenue, marketing, People/HR, programs, finance, engineering, and products teams.
- •Build and scale the legal function.
- •Support public company readiness.
- •Requirements J.D. degree from an A.B.A. accredited law school; admitted to and in good standing with a state bar. 3-5 years at a top law firm with a preference for some previous in-house experience.
- •Ability to multitask, problem solve, prioritize, think critically and exercise judgment.
- •Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- •Willingness to go above and beyond to achieve results while setting high standards and aiming for continuous improvement.
