TL;DR
Provide IT support and manage workplace technology for the Austin office.
- •1Password is opening a new office in Austin and needs a Workplace Support Specialist to own the technology that makes it work.
- •This role is responsible for delivering an exceptional in-person technology experience by supporting workplace systems, office network, AV, collaboration systems, and physical security technology.
- •Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain the Austin office network, including wired and wireless infrastructure.
- •Operate and maintain the physical security stack, including access control and camera platforms.
- •Serve as the primary point of contact for employees requiring in-person IT support.
- •Own the end-to-end onboarding technology experience for employees joining in Austin.
- •Manage AV operations across a range of spaces, including video conferencing and room scheduling.
- •Requirements 3+ years of experience in IT support, workplace technology, or infrastructure with hands-on experience supporting office environments.
- •Experience with office networking (Cisco Meraki, Aruba, or Ubiquiti).
- •Experience operating workplace AV systems.
- •Experience with physical security systems.
- •Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
