- •Valar Atomics is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to ensure quality enables their mission of making clean, high-temperature nuclear power scalable.
- •This role is a founding leadership position focused on executing tactically and architecting the future Quality organization and systems.
- •Key Responsibilities Act as a solutions owner for quality-related challenges across R&D and early commercial activities.
- •Co-architect Valar's Quality Management System from the ground up.
- •Build prevention-focused systems that scale cleanly.
- •Serve as a credible technical interface with regulators, auditors, and external stakeholders.
- •Leverage modern tools, data, automation, and AI to increase speed and rigor.
- •Requirements Prior experience in nuclear quality assurance.
- •Broad quality engineering background spanning design, manufacturing, suppliers, and testing.
- •Experience building or significantly reshaping quality systems.
- •Demonstrated ability to execute with minimal direction in incomplete systems.
- •Comfort working in high-intensity, rapidly changing environments.
