About the role
TL;DR
Lead cafe shifts, ensuring exceptional hospitality and operational excellence.
- •A Blue Bottle Shift Lead is part of the cafe’s leadership team, responsible for ensuring smooth operations and consistently delivering exceptional hospitality and coffee experiences.
- •They support the team and cafe by ensuring proper staffing and upholding Blue Bottle standards.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead shifts, ensuring the right people are in place and the team delivers exceptional hospitality and executes all items to standard.
- •Assist with training new and current team members on new offerings.
- •Guide operational tasks and ensure adherence to Blue Bottle standards and safety guidelines.
- •Provide feedback to inspire continuous improvement in workflow, hospitality, and product quality.
- •Lead the team in working towards company-wide sustainability goals.
- •Requirements 6 months
- •1 year of supervisory experience or experience leading a team.
- •Completed Blue Bottle's Barista training and validation program or will complete it within 90 days post-hire.
- •Existing Food Safety Certification required for the state you will be working in and your specific role, or will obtain it within 30 days post-hire.
- •Basic math and computer skills.
- •Flexible schedule available for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
