About the role
TL;DR
Responsible for quality control and selection of fruits and vegetables in a logistics process.
- •As a Quality Employee for Fruits & Vegetables, you are responsible for the continuous assurance of product quality in our fruit and vegetable department.
- •You are a crucial part of our logistics process and ensure that our customers always receive fresh and flawless goods.
- •Key Responsibilities Quality control: Checking goods (focus on fruits & vegetables) upon delivery and in stock Warehouse management: Monitoring ripeness, storage locations, and adherence to the FIFO principle Securing: Documenting inspection results and ensuring traceability Product selection: Active selection of the best goods for sale Optimization: Implementation and follow-up of corrective measures Complaint management: Processing customer feedback in close coordination with the team Requirements Ideally, you have experience with fruits and vegetables, e.g., from retail at Aldi/Lidl/Rewe or from wholesale Good eye for quality and freshness Strong communication and teamwork skills Willingness to work in a cool environment at up to 3 degrees Celsius Willingness to work shifts from Monday to Sunday Good English skills, alternatively good German skills
