About the role
TL;DR
Drive production operations, releases, and customer deployments for SaaS and on-premise environments.
- •Axonius is seeking a DevOps Operations Engineer to join our DevOps Production team responsible for driving crucial production operations, releases, and customer deployments across thousands of SaaS and on-premise environments.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead operational procedures, deployments, upgrades, and patch deliveries for thousands of SaaS and on-premise customer environments.
- •Develop scripts and automations (using Python, Bash, or Go) to enhance operational efficiency, streamline releases, and empower R&D development teams.
- •Monitor system processes, troubleshoot production incidents, and collaborate with R&D on incident management and post-incident improvements.
- •Participate in on-call rotations to support production incidents and in deployment efforts to ensure uninterrupted operational continuity and system health.
- •Requirements 2+ years of hands-on experience in Linux system administration across major distributions (e.g., Ubuntu, RedHat, CentOS).
- •Demonstrated experience with containerized environments using Docker and Docker Compose, alongside version control using Git.
- •Practical hands-on programming/scripting experience in Python, Bash, or Go, combined with cloud platform exposure (e.g., AWS EC2, S3, ECR).
- •Practical experience with monitoring and observability systems such as Coralogix, Grafana, or Prometheus.
- •Practical experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate shell/Python scripting, log analysis, and operational troubleshooting.
