About the role
TL;DR
Design digital-logic systems for photonic quantum computers, implementing low-latency algorithms and hardware requirements.
- •PsiQuantum is building the first useful quantum computers using silicon photonics.
- •This role contributes to shaping and defining the digital-logic systems that drive their photonic quantum computer.
- •Key Responsibilities Gather and translate high-level abstract requirements into concrete hardware requirements.
- •Devise and implement low-latency algorithms and methods for time-critical tasks in an optical quantum computer.
- •Integrate algorithms into FPGAs and optimize designs for performance, latency, throughput, and footprint.
- •Write requirements and documentation, and implement cycle-accurate Python models and SystemVerilog implementations.
- •Requirements Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related discipline. 5+ years of relevant work in digital design.
- •Knowledge of SystemVerilog (or VHDL) for design and simulation.
- •Experience working with FPGAs (Xilinx preferred) and associated tooling.
- •Experienced Python programmer.
